MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE DA’WAH IN LIVERPOOL – MARKAZ IMĀM AL-BUKHĀRĪ
It is with great happiness & joy that we announce our intention to purchase a building and outright own it to further the Da’wah in Liverpool.
Background to Liverpool:
The Da’wah began in 2011 when we first set up & established a regular fortnightly lesson – “The 3 Fundamental Principles”. In the early years we moved from location to location, hiring halls wherever they were available to keep the Da’wah going.
As upon the advice of the Scholars, we began studying books one after the other and very quickly our lessons became weekly, and for some time now we have increased to 2 classes a week, such was the enthusiasm…

By the blessing of Allah we kept the classes running through difficulty & ease, and slowly we saw the fruits of this, youngsters coming into the Da’wah, and the community becoming more aware of Salafiyyah. Eventually by Allah’s permission we were able to establish a major conference in 2018, attended by our brothers & communities travelling from around the UK to join us. We followed that up with another major conference in March of this year in 2019 – both conferences attended by our Du’āt Abu Hakīm, Abu Khadījah, Abu ‘Iyād, Abu Idrīs, Abu Muādh + telelinks.
Despite the opposition of the people of desires, the Da’wah has flourished & blossomed in the city of Liverpool, Allah has blessed us tremendously.
We have now arrived at a situation where we have finalised technicalities to tread upon the path of acquiring a building for ourselves. We have viewed several locations, analyzed the pros & cons of each, and continue to analyze the situation to progress further.
Our initial projection suggests a requirement of £30,000 as the deposit to secure a building. It is this initial target we ask our brothers & sisters to participate in and aid ahlus-Sunnah in establishing another full-time Markaz in the UK.
Liverpool is a huge multi-cultural city with tremendous potential for the growth of the Da’wah. Our website is full of our regular classes over the years, & we also hold community events at regular intervals.
We make this humble request of our brothers & sisters, of ahlus-Sunnah to participate in this good, to aid in establishing a Markaz/Masjid in Liverpool.
